This camp reinforces the importance of a thoughtful transition to the off-season. 


Athletes will begin working towards symmetry and general athleticism in the gym. 


Outdoor training will focus on a holistic assesment of skills and tactics, providing each athlete with focal points for off-season training. 

October 25 - 27

A first opportunity to begin a focus on building muscle and strength into a successful training program. 


Ongoing skill-based training and endurance work, with a focus on efficient climbing and descending. 





November 16 - 18

This camp continues to emphasize hypertrophy, strength and general athleticism, with the addition of baseline athlete testing. 


The focal point for this training camp is body position, and how it creates the ideal foundation upon which all cycling skills are built. 



December 14 - 15

This camp puts the final touches on general hypertrophy, strength, and athleticism. 


The outdoor portion of this camp builds upon lessons learned in November. Improvements to body position are utilized to improve general range of motion and strength while riding. 



January 24 - 26

The new year signifies a transition towards athleticism and speed. Training shifts towards the incorporation of tempo-based strength training and workrate. Athlete testing is also a focal point for the camp. 


After having spent the first portion of the off-season improving technique, the focus now shifts towards decision making and cognitive skills while fatigued. 

February 14 - 17

Athletes will continue to develop power and speed through the use of traditional strength training, and the introduction of speed-based training where appropriate. 


Tactical and purposeful riding remains a focal point, with the introduction of high-intensity training and education. Timed training will be utilized to reinforce the importance of learning outcomes. 


March 17 - 21

As the spring approaches, athletes begin to transition to strength maintenace, while also building upon the speed and athleticism developed during the previous phase


This camp is intentionally built to be an endurance-focused training block. Athletes will spend more time working on their aerobic endurance, while also building deliberate skills practice into each riding session.
