Comprehensive Training Plans

Comprehensive coaching is our solution to a complete training system. With over 20 years of fitness instruction and technical skills coaching experience, Blueprint Athlete Development has become the industry standard for long-term training. 


Programs are tailored to the specific needs of each individual, incorporating evidence-based coaching strategies, personal needs, competition schedules, and daily training environments. Every aspect of strength, mobility, fitness, and cross training is addressed. Comprehensive coaching also includes ongoing consultation and communication with coaches on the topics of nutrition, goal setting, mental performance, equipment and setup, and injury prevention. 


Our programs are dynamically periodized, meaning that there is no "set" plan. Each week, coaches adjust and adapt plans based on constant interaction, subjective feedback, and data analysis. Interaction with our coaching team is not limited to once per week. We believe that ongoing interaction and feedback is a vital part of a successful athlete-coach relationship, and encourage individuals to reach out consistently. 


Comprehensive coaching programs can begin at any time of the year and require a 12-month commitment. The cost is $325+GST per month. 


Athletes are also welcome to attend in-person training at our facility in Squamish, where we offer strength and fitness training, rehabilitation services, and data-driven athlete testing.


Athletes seeking a more affordable option can refer to our generic training plans, which are based on the same philosophies.

Comprehensive Training Plans are the best solution for cyclists seeking the most professional training plan. This program is appropriate for every type of cyclist and has been proven effective from grassroots to World Champions. 


Each training plan begins with a thorough review of athlete history, long-term goals, resources, and gap anaylisis. From that point, plans are built from scratch and in consultation with the best coaches available. 


Training is a blend of evidence-based strategies and experience-based blending of all forms of training. Athletes will receive guidance across every training pillar: cardiovascular, strength, athleticism, skills & tactics, and race planning. Athletes are also provided with nutrition, mental performance, and bike setup mentorship. 


Programs are constantly evolving with each athlete. Athletes have unlimited access to our team of coaches through email, messaging, online conferences, and in-person meetings. Training loads and intensities are data-driven and provided to athletes using Training Peaks. 


For athletes seeking a training plan that is proven effective across every cycling discipline and at any age, there is no better solution. Please note, there is a minimum commitment of one-year for this program.
