Terms of Service

Version 1.2Last updated July 25, 2026

01About these Terms

These Terms govern your use of this website and any booking or enrollment you make through it. By using the site or submitting a booking or registration, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

02Who we are

Blueprint Athlete Development Ltd. (“Blueprint,” “we,” “us”), PO Box 1864, Garibaldi Highlands, BC, V0N 1T0. Business Number BC1190942.

03Programs, bookings and enrollment

  • 3.1

Program descriptions, dates, venues and coaching assignments are shown as accurately as possible but may change for operational, safety or performance reasons.

  • 3.2

A booking or enrollment is a request until we confirm it. We may decline or cancel where a program is full, where a participant does not meet the age or ability requirements, or where required registration information has not been provided.

  • 3.3

A place is held only once the required deposit has been paid.

  • 3.4

Participation is subject to the Terms & Conditions and Waiver accepted at registration.

04Pricing, currency and tax

  • 4.1

Pricing is shown before you confirm an enrollment or booking.

  • 4.2

Prices are displayed in the currency shown next to the price — either Canadian dollars (CAD) or United States dollars (USD). Currency follows the location of the program and is stated on each product. Always check the currency shown before confirming.

  • 4.3

All prices are exclusive of tax. Tax is applied according to where the program is delivered: programs delivered in Canada are subject to 5% GST; programs delivered outside Canada are not subject to GST, and any tax applicable in that jurisdiction is shown separately. Tax is charged in the currency invoiced and is itemized on your invoice.

  • 4.4

If you pay from an account held in a different currency than the invoice, your bank or card issuer sets the exchange rate and may charge conversion or foreign transaction fees. Those costs are yours, and the invoice must be settled in full in the currency invoiced.

05Payment and invoicing

  • 5.1

We do not process card payments on this website and do not collect or store payment card details here.

  • 5.2

When you confirm, an invoice is generated in QuickBooks Online, tied to your customer record, and emailed to you. You pay that invoice through QuickBooks Online.

  • 5.3

Where a deposit applies, the deposit and the balance are invoiced separately. The balance is due on the terms stated on that invoice.

  • 5.4

Payment terms are stated on the invoice.

  • 5.5

Enrollment and continued participation may be conditional on your account being in good standing. We may suspend access to sessions or services while an invoice is overdue.

06Deposits, cancellations and changes

This section applies to every Blueprint product — skill sessions, private coaching, Blueprint Racing, Groms, memberships, multi-week programs, camps and events.

  • 6.1

Cancellation or change by Blueprint. We may cancel, shorten, relocate or move a session indoors for weather, air quality, trail or facility conditions, wildfire, staffing, insufficient enrollment, or any other safety or operational reason. We will reschedule or substitute where reasonably practicable. Where a session cannot be delivered or replaced within the program term, we will issue a credit toward a future Blueprint program.

  • 6.2

    Skill sessions and individual bookings.

    • (a)

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the session fee is payable at the time of booking and holds your place. The deposit is not refunded in any circumstance, including where you cancel with full notice.

    • (b)

You may reschedule or cancel with at least 7 days’ notice before the session. On cancellation with that notice, the balance is not charged and the deposit is forfeited. On a reschedule with that notice, the deposit carries to the new date.

    • (c)

Inside 7 days, the booking may only be cancelled, not rescheduled, and the full session fee is payable. A no-show is treated the same way.

    • (d)

One reschedule is permitted per booking. Any further change is treated as a cancellation.

  • 6.3

Blueprint Racing, Groms and multi-week programs.

    • (a)

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the program fee is payable at registration and holds the athlete’s place. The deposit is not refunded in any circumstance.

    • (b)

Before the program starts, you may cancel or change enrollment with at least 7 days’ notice before the first session. The balance is not charged and the deposit is forfeited. Inside 7 days, the full program fee is payable.

    • (c)

Once the program has started, enrollment cannot be cancelled and fees are not refunded. Where an athlete withdraws, we will issue a credit toward a future Blueprint program for the unused portion of the block, calculated under 6.5 and 6.7.

    • (d)

Enrollment cannot be paused, held over, or transferred to a later term.

  • 6.4

    Camps and events.

    • (a)

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable at registration.

    • (b)

You may cancel with at least 7 days’ notice before the start date. The balance is not charged and the deposit is forfeited. Inside 7 days, the full fee is payable.

    • (c)

Once a camp or event has started, fees are not refunded. We will issue a credit toward a future Blueprint program for the unused portion, calculated under 6.5 and 6.7.

  • 6.5

Committed tier pricing. Where you are enrolled at a committed tier rate (Team or Training) and withdraw before the end of the term, sessions already attended are re-priced at the Custom / On Demand rate. Any credit issued under 6.3 or 6.4 is calculated on the balance remaining after that adjustment. Where the adjustment exceeds the amount paid, the difference is invoiced and due within 30 days.

  • 6.6

Missed sessions. Sessions you miss are not refunded, credited or carried forward, and do not extend the program term.

  • 6.7

Program credits. Credits are issued in the currency of the original invoice, are applied against a future Blueprint program, are not redeemable for cash, are personal to the registered athlete, and expire 12 months from the date of issue.

  • 6.8

Transfers. Bookings, enrollments and credits are personal to the registered athlete and cannot be transferred to another person.

  • 6.9

Removal for conduct. Where we end participation for conduct reasons, fees are not refunded and no credit is issued.

07Injury and illness

  • 7.1

Injury does not end your program — it changes it. Blueprint programs are built around the athlete, not around a fixed set of sessions. If you are injured or unwell, we adapt the plan rather than stopping it, and we keep working with you through rehabilitation and return to sport.

  • 7.2

For that reason, programs are not paused, suspended, extended or held over for injury or illness, and fees are not refunded or credited. Continuity of coaching through an injury is part of the service, not an interruption to it.

  • 7.3

In practice this means modified loading, technical and tactical work, mobility and strength progressions appropriate to the injury, and a structured return-to-sport pathway built with your medical providers.

  • 7.4

Where an injury prevents participation in group sessions, we will substitute an equivalent individual or remote element of the program where reasonably practicable.

  • 7.5

Where an athlete sustains a season-ending injury with supporting medical documentation, Blueprint may, at its sole discretion and in writing, apply a credit toward a future program. This is a discretionary accommodation and not a refund entitlement.

  • 7.6

Return to training after significant injury or a suspected concussion may require written medical clearance.

08Participation requirements and safety

  • 8.1

A correctly fitted, undamaged helmet meeting a recognized safety standard is mandatory at all riding sessions. Additional protective equipment may be required and will be communicated in advance.

  • 8.2

Athletes must arrive with equipment in safe, working order. We may refuse participation, without refund, where equipment is unsafe or required protective equipment is missing.

  • 8.3

Athletes, guardians and spectators must follow all venue, school district, trail and facility rules.

  • 8.4

We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal equipment or property.

09Athletes under 19

  • 9.1

A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept the Terms & Conditions and Waiver on behalf of any athlete under 19.

  • 9.2

Supervision begins at the posted session start time at the designated meeting point and ends at the posted finish time. Guardians are responsible for drop-off, pick-up and supervision outside those times.

  • 9.3

We do not provide transportation unless expressly arranged in writing.

  • 9.4

Guardians authorize Blueprint staff to obtain or administer first aid and to arrange emergency medical treatment where they cannot be reached, and are responsible for any resulting costs.

10Risk and waiver

Mountain biking, cycling, ski racing, strength and dryland training carry inherent and significant risks, including serious injury and death. Participation requires acceptance of Blueprint’s Terms & Conditions and Waiver at registration, which includes an assumption of risk and release of liability. Please read it carefully before accepting.

11Website use and intellectual property

  • 11.1

Site content, training materials, program structures, videos, images and the Blueprint name and marks are owned by Blueprint or its licensors.

  • 11.2

You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, resell or use it to coach third parties without written permission.

  • 11.3

You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it.

12Accounts

  • 12.1

Some Blueprint services are delivered through Blueprint’s own web applications and require an account.

  • 12.2

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

  • 12.3

Accounts are personal to the registered athlete or guardian and may not be shared.

  • 12.4

We may suspend or close an account for breach of these Terms or where an account is overdue.

13Accuracy and availability

Site content is provided for general information. We aim to keep it current but do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or error-free, and we may change or remove content, or suspend the site or our applications, at any time without notice.

15Limitation of liability

  • 15.1

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

  • 15.2

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the site or any program is limited to the fees you paid for the program giving rise to the claim.

  • 15.3

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost race entries, travel costs or lost opportunity.

16Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, and the parties attorn to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.

17Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version posted at the time of your booking or enrollment governs that booking or enrollment. Material changes will be posted here with an updated version date.
